Some places win you over at first glance. You walk in by chance, and stay because it feels right.
The Salon is one of those spaces. A bright, open apartment nestled between the iconic Piazza Duomo and the quietly majestic Piazza dei Mercanti—one of Milan’s most historic and evocative corners.
It’s a fluid space. Open, ever-changing, and full of life. From its windows, the city flows in with light and inspiration. Ideas take shape, conversations become connections, and people leave behind traces of stories worth telling.
The Salon is home to The Leading Women Circle, the community founded by Marina Montalto for women in leadership who bring with them vision, voice, and a global point of view. It also hosts Minerva Sensorial Branding, a consultancy for relationships and partnerships in the world of beauty, lifestyle, and hospitality. And it is the creative heart of Unconventional Luxury Magazine, where luxury is explored from within, through the voices of those who shape it.
More than anything, though, this is a space for people—diverse, brilliant, curious.
It’s perfect for a quiet morning coffee, a breakfast that turns into a spontaneous brainstorm, or evening drinks that open up new conversations. Here, it’s always the right moment to sip something and exchange ideas.
Breakfasts, aperitivi, intimate dinners, and events unfold naturally. The Salon evolves with each day, shaped more by the people who inhabit it than by the walls themselves. The all-female team behind it brings together international experience, cultural diversity, and a distinct kind of creative energy.
Marina Montalto, who discovered this space almost by chance after years of searching, transformed it by letting simplicity be its most defining trait. She says each moment of the day brings its own light; each brand that passes through tells its own story and offers a unique experience. And every guest, inevitably, leaves something behind.
