Palazzo Verde
Lisbon’s luminous hills welcome a new chapter in botanical luxury with Palazzo Verde, the latest opening from Bvlgari Hotels. Housed within a 19th-century palacete in the Lapa district, the hotel reimagines urban hospitality as an immersive garden experience.
Every suite is named after a plant—thyme, fig leaf, myrtle—and each features its own private balcony garden, curated in collaboration with Portuguese landscape artists. Inside, natural materials define the interiors: hand-stitched linen, reclaimed wood, and tactile terracotta meet marble counters that carry the patina of time.
Signature Bvlgari elegance is present but softened. Fragrances are custom-blended by Officine Universelle Buly, with diffusers in every suite offering quiet trails of vetiver, rosemary and orange blossom. The scent of summer herbs drifts into the corridors.
Beyond aesthetics, Palazzo Verde invites guests into a slower rhythm. Mornings begin with herbal infusions from the rooftop greenhouse. The spa uses garden-sourced botanicals for all treatments. In the evening, the restaurant opens to a courtyard of citrus trees, offering a modern take on Portuguese cucina povera with fresh garden fare.
Palazzo Verde isn’t just about greenery—it’s about rootedness. About place, soil, light and calm. A living hotel, and a stay that grows on you.
